Mission 4 [voice]
[Erza is affected by this, and her thoughts will be in red.]
With all of the new people that were brought here in the past month, has anybody seen any new arrivals claiming to be members of the Fairy Tail guild?
I hope Gerard didn't show up... I still don't know what I would say to him if I met him here...
Also, I'm opening a branch of Fairy Tail here; it will give me something to do with my free time. And it will help me meet new people, hopefully. If you have any questions about the work we do, or any jobs that need done, feel free to ask over the journal. I haven't came up with any sort of reward system yet, seeing as this place has no money, so in the meantime, any tasks you have will be done for free, if I consider them acceptable. I'm not going to give out where I live just yet; there have been too many murders and kidnappings lately.

What do you mean by "The World"? From the way you're saying it, it sounds like the words mean something else to you.

If there were an emergency in the village, would Fairy Tail offer support to the defense groups or are you not specialized in fighting?
[Voice]
We specialize more in fighting; I'm one of the stronger members, though there are many who are stronger still.

Never can tell with pirate crews and bounty hunters. They picked the strangest names.
[voice]
...And there is a reason behind the guild's name, you know. It has to do with our shared enjoyment of adventures and discovering the unknown.
Re: [voice]
Still sounds like a pirate crew to me.
[voice]
[Or so she thinks...]
Re: [voice]
HEY!
It's not an obsession! It's my job.
Was? Tsk. So long as Straw-Hat and his idiots are here, it sill is. At least she's not one of them.
[voice]
...Do you mean the Straw Hat Pirates?
Re: [voice]
Tch. Possibly not, but they are the type to declare war on the World Government, punch a tenryuubito which is enough to almost get a whole island destroyed, and bust into Impel Down: a giant prison and break out a slew of prisoners including one ex-shichibukai they helped defeat in the first place. Innocent my ass.
[voice]
Re: [voice]
Tenryuubito are a special type of royalty in my world. No one holds them any particular love, but the government owes them ... something, so attacking one calls in an admiral to get rid of the idiot foolish enough to do something that insane.
A shichibukai is a legalized pirate, the government tries to use them to keep other pirates in check with their strength. It's pure idiocy since they all only follow their own agenda, just biding their time to turn on the government when possible.
And exactly. The Straw-Hats are just that insane. The fact that they've dealt with shichibukai and admirals an still managed to surprise only proves how dangerous they are.
[voice]
And why would the government hire criminals to work for them, if they're planning on betraying the government in the first place?
Re: [voice]
Because the idiots up the chain of command are arrogant jackasses who think they can control them with money, and they don't listen to common sense.
And like it or not, they're desperate. Not enough marines, too many pirates, and Dragon's Revolution is starting to corner them into a wall.
[voice]
[voice]
Correct. By no means is the World Government doing their job perfectly, nor even the way they should be necessarily. But there isn't anyone else to deal with the pirates. Even when the countries retain enough autonomy to have their own armies, pirates recognize no bounds. They sail on oceans un-policed by individual countries and that only leaves the marines to deal with them. Dragon's Revolution is specifically trying to overthrow the World Government so they have no choice, but to deal with that on top of the pirates.

Isn't that a type of story?

What do you mean by that?
[voice]
[voice]
Back home, our guild has a reputation for causing a lot of property damage on our missions; my group in particular seems to cause the most, no matter how hard I try to get them under control. It seems like even the simplest of missions winds up with buildings being destroyed when I'm working with those idiots.

As in, living the fairy tale?

[voice]
But there isn't enough space for a fairy tale in this place.

Laundry.
And I believe "Hello" is standard fare. Not really exciting though. Might want to think about punching it up a bit.

[voice]
Please. Rooms rebuild here. Buuut if you're gonna be picky about it what jobs are on the approved list?
[voice]
I haven't done non-S-Rank jobs in years, so my memory might not be the best in regards to anything that doesn't involve killing monsters. The jobs that most guild members can take usually involve finding lost objects, or taking jobs in emergencies.
[voice]
If you're wanting S-Rank, you're looking at some pretty slim pickings. Only thing that comes to mind is the Malnosso recruiting - unless you count Bel's socks.
[voice]
In that case, I suppose I'll have to settle for the regular types of missions.
[voice]
And it's not important. I'm thinking no one was supposed to hear about what's-his-face, Gerald, anyway.
[voice]
[voice]
...Don't know if you've noticed yet, but you're getting weird on me here.
[voice]
Fine. Hello, Squalo. Is that what you wanted? Or is this about what happened a few months ago?
[voice] 1/2
Voooii! The hell are we even talking about? We're on two different pa...ges.
[voice - private] 2/2
What does THAT have to do with THIS?!

[And then all the bits and pieces of miscommunication start to fall into place.]
How the hell was I supposed to know this guy isn't just some goofball from your guild?! I wouldn't have tried to tease you. Probably.
[voice - private]
[Well, that's a lot more links than I figured I'd have to put...]
[voice - private]
[Squalo doesn't plan to look at those memories. But he does; it's hard not to. He's about to comment that ritual sacrifice doesn't make for a great bonding exercise. But he doesn't. He's just silent for a moment. ]
Betrayal, huh? Might want to...check your thoughts.
[Well done XD]

Anyway, my guess is a week. That seems standard practice.
