The explanation is pretty long, but...

The Origin is a dragon-type wild sorcery. As far as I know, it was named this because it contains the very first seven verses of the Song of Sorcery ever created. It focuses on controlling the flow of the elements and using it to attack or defend. The Origin can only control the shape through flow, not focus or molding, so it cannot be used to substitute for traditional magic.

What it means is that while I can breathe fire, form a whip of water and charge my blade with lightning, I cannot throw a fireball or create a water bubble. The final shape must be something that moves, no matter what.
