[The date for the supposed kidnapping had arrived. Erza had been fortunate enough to not have to experience being kidnapped by the robots before, but she's still not looking forward to it. It seemed to be worse if you knew that you were going to be kidnapped, but didn't know when it would happen.

In an attempt to keep her mind off of it, she decided to take a walk around the village. She'll be seen at various places throughout the afternoon, if anyone happens to run into her, and will be finishing off her walk at Seventh Heaven.

Later on in the day, after these threads, she's mallynapped. The journals don't pick up anything, but suffice to say, even when it comes to token resistances, she isn't the type to go quietly.]

[Mitsuru analyzed the hell out of that post, so she knows that Erza is one of the people who will be kidnapped. So, when she sees the other girl, Mitsuru raises her hand a bit hesitantly to wave in case Erza notices her.]

[Erza waves back, trying to act nonchalant. Unfortunately for her, she's never been a good actor.] Hello, Mitsuru. How are you doing?

I'm doing well, despite the circumstances. [And Mitsuru's never one to beat around the bush.] Today is the day, isn't it?

You heard? [No point in keeping up the act, then.] Yes, it is. I haven't been kidnapped by the Malnosso before, but to be honest, it's quite nerve-racking to know that I could be dragged away at any moment.

I haven't, either. Though, I'm not taking part in this operation. ...Perhaps you should keep yourself busy, it might help with the nerves.

Anything that you'd suggest? I usually practice at the barracks to keep busy, but every time I saw a training dummy out of the corner of my eye, I thought it was one of those robots, which didn't help matters.

A conversation might work. I'm not too busy today, so I can keep you company.

Thank you. So, you told me about what your world is like before - do you have any friends from there who were brought here?

Yes -- several in fact. Though, one of them is from an alternate universe...it's complicated.

I've heard a bit about that sort of thing since I've been here. There's nothing like that back home, though. [As far as she knows, anyways...] What's the difference between that universe and yours?

One of my teammates is female instead of male. It doesn't seem very difficult to adjust to, but it's very disconcerting at times.

Really? I could imagine that being quite difficult to get used to...

The only other person from my world just arrived here recently. His name is Natsu; even if you haven't seen him around the village, you've probably heard him at the very least.

[LITTLE DOES SHE KNOW that he is the very guy who mistook her for Erza in that naked teleportation fiasco.]

I see. I'm glad that you have someone from your world here, though.

In a way, yes. However, he's constantly challenging me to fights, and that gets irritating after a while.

Does he ever win?

No, but it never seems to stop him from trying.

[A smirk.] You can always stop humoring him.

[She chuckles.] I figure it's safer for him this way. If he wasn't trying to fight me, he'd be trying to fight a man who physically destroys things by being near them, or a person who can turn his body into metal. At least I end the skirmishes quickly, and leave him in relatively little pain.

How considerate of you. But at least you have a friend from home, right?

Yes; even though I complain about him, he's still my friend - we may be dysfunctional at times, but we always have each other's backs when there's trouble.

[ Seventh Heaven is where she'll end up finding Natsu. Having been denied a spot on the front lines, he's anything but happy. He's slumped over the bar, a mighty scowl on his face, and is mightily drinking...

Tea, actually, because as far as he's concerned, alcohol should be reserved for holidays.

He's too busy sulking to notice Erza unless she approaches him. ]

[Seeing that familiar head of light-red hair, Erza sits down on the stool beside him, immediately noticing the look on his face.] What's wrong?
