Mission 11 [written]
[Erza had just woke up recently, and after convincing the people working at the clinic that she was well enough, she went back to her apartment. Sitting on her bed, she vaguely remembers the sorts of things she had dreamed about while she was unconscious. They weren't good dreams by any stretch of the imagination - mostly whipping and screaming noises - but they got her thinking nonetheless. Opening her journal, she decides to write what she's thinking for a change.]
This may sound strange, but I have a general question: what are your parents like?

How young were you when he did all this?

But-but they were! I fell forever!!
About seven I think...

[He takes off his hat, displaying it to the screen.]
He's the man who gave me this hat. And when I become a great pirate.. I'm gonna give it back to him.
[Voice]
Was the hat important to your friend? And how do you know when you're great enough to give it back to him?
[Voice] Gah, SORRY FOR LATE.
Shishishi. In the whole year he was in the village I never seen him without it! [So yuuup!] I don't know the specifics, but... if I can get to him in the New World, despite all the stuff me and my crew had to endure... I think then I'd be a great pirate.

...See, the thing is... Mom, and by extension, Dad... they're not my biological parents. They adopted me when I was really young. ...That said, I think of them as my real family, considering they raised me, took care of me, and all of the stuff parents are supposed to do. So... I love them with all my heart.
...My biological parents though... well. That's a little less of a happy story.
[Voice, Filtered 60%]
If you don't want to tell me about them, you don't have to, you know.

...My biological parents were best friends with Mom and Dad. They had lived in Holt Village for a number of years after moving there from another Netherworld. But when the Overlord took control of Veldime, they vowed to protect their home and went to stop the Overlord and their curse. They left me in the care of their best friends.
...They never returned. They lost. And then the Curse took full effect.
[Voice, Filtered 60%]
...What kind of curse did they have?
[Voice, Filtered 60%]
...And most Overlords don't curse their Netherworlds. They usually just rule over them. Some are better than others.
But this Overlord... well. Veldime was actually a human world before he got to it, and the curse changed humans into demons and sapped their consciences and memories, stunting and changing them. But the curse didn't change me. So I vowed to break it.
[Voice, Filtered 60%]
I see... How did you break the curse? And why didn't effect you?
[Voice, Filtered 100% 1/2]
Ha, well. No, I'm not an Overlord. Though I'm probably strong enough to be one if I really wanted to, I guess.
...And well, I broke the curse by getting some people together and going and kicking the Overlord's ass. Killing him did the trick. It restored the memories and consciences of the people who were affected, but... they were still stuck as demons physically. ...Which for some people could be a blessing. Others didn't fare so well, but... I think it was unanimous that they were glad to have their minds back in order.

[She takes a few moments to collect her thoughts. First good pirates, now good demons? In her world, this wasn't entirely without precedent - the inhabitants of Galuna Island came to mind - but it was rare, and they always looked obviously demonic in appearance, whereas Adell doesn't. She decides to double-check to make sure that she heard right.]
So you're saying... you're a demon?
[Voice, Filtered 100%]
Though considering Mom and Dad's memories were gone most of my life, they... kind of forgot I was a demon for a long time, so I spent the better part of my life thinking I was human.
...But honestly, not all demons are evil where I'm from.
[Voice]
Finally--]
...I don't remember mine.
[Flandre...doesn't seem too terribly bothered by this, though.]
What about sisters?
[Voice]
Sure, that will work.
[Voice]
[...and locked her in a basement for like five centuries but shhh.]
[Voice]
[It was for her own good. Probably.]
[Voice]
[Given her superpower is like triple sevens on the Godmode Lottery it most likely was.]
[Voice]
[Really? I'll have to look up a gameplay video to see how broken she is... GAH! Are all of the bosses in that game like that? And I thought Sin and Punishment's final boss was hard!]
[Voice]
[(1:03) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm5AFk94NLg) Extra mode is always ridiculous D: Though Flandre's canon powers are kind of abstractly represented in the game.]
[Voice]
Nice to meet you, though. I'm Erza Scarlet, a mage of Fairy Tail.
[What are her canon powers?]
[Voice]
[Basically manipulating the metaphysical "eye" of an object--or person--which usually aligns with the stress points of said object and then crushing it in her hands resulting in Instant Unblockable Destruction. Hence why I don't like using it that much in RP because that is hax D:
She also has super ridiculous strength but that's a racial ability instead of a specific power.]

Good parents to have, though. Smart, busy, maybe a little distant by most folks' standards. Taught me a lot.
