[Upon waking up in the morning, Erza goes about her usual routine, getting an early breakfast. Afterwards, she heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth, but drops her glass in shock when she sees what's in the mirror.]

[Not even bothering to pick up the shards of glass that now litter the floor, she runs over to the journal and throws it open. The only thing she can think of is that this is some kind of body-swapping event, which means...]

Gerard? Are you out there? It's Erza!

...Do you still know who I am?

[Afterwards, she is heading out to find some clothing that will actually fit her new body; the good thing about ex-quipping is that she can avoid any sort of awkward situations that could arise from this. At the moment, she's wearing the most gender-neutral outfit she has, a fairly baggy construction uniform, but that won't be enough to last however long this will go on for. Others can find "her" either in the clothing store or just walking around town.]

Hm? [Erza was distracted, though for a different reason. Just seeing Gerard's face reminded her of both the pain that he caused her and his desire to repent; how could she spend roughly a week in his form?]

It seems like some kind of body swapping experiment; those have happened before. Generally, two people tend to switch bodies, and the Malnosso usually aim for maximum awkwardness from what I've heard. I'm hoping that means that my friend is around here somewhere.

Not everyone has swapped bodies I think. I met a giant spoon, and this girl who was a giant panda.

So, this Akane Tendo person, do you know her from home?

[She's going to have to go with the extremely simple version; she doesn't want to divulge all the details.] We had a fight before I was brought here, and I wanted to patch things up with him. [And by "fight", she means that he had tried to sacrifice her to revive a evil mage who had tremendous power, came to his senses, sacrificed himself to stop it, and was revived with amnesia.]

...I don't see much of a connection between our transformations, a giant spoon, and a panda. Maybe it will make more sense as time goes on.

[What makes it worse is that she's had a crush on him for years before that point, and he's most recently been arrested for crimes that he doesn't remember committing.]

I checked the journals, but I didn't get a response. I suppose it's a good thing; at least he might not be trapped here as well.

Oh. That's has to be for the better.

I guess you're right. It would be nice to see him here, but I'd rather get out of this place and see him again in my own world.

Nice to meet you too, though I wish it were under different circumstances. [No, you don't] I'm still not entirely used to being in this body; it's rather strange.

Eeeh~ [The arms lower as he shrugs] Strange circumstances are common here, wouldn't you say?

I guess. It's kind of sad when "strange" becomes the norm, though.

Mmm~ Well, I guess that's true too. [And freaks him out. But] But so long as there's people to talk with it's okay, right?

It certainly helps, yes. It would be nice if the Malnosso weren't involved at all, though - I like meeting all these new people and finding out about other worlds, but the experiments are too much some times.

Mm, that's true. [Flatly, he trails off there, shrugging]
